Almerimar
Almerimar is located 40 kilometres to the west of Almería.

Sheltered by the Sierra Nevada, which prevents bad weather from crossing into the area, the region of Almería is one of the sunniest and driest areas in all of Europe. Year-round sunshine, beautiful long beaches and the huge marina of Almerimar make this location the place to be - and not only during the summertime.

Aside from being a haven for the boat sport Almerimar also is a golf aficionado's delight: A beautiful 18-hole course (to be expanded to a 24-hole course in 2004) is awaiting the ambitious player.
